Alejo & Dorothy Quijada, Lima Peru

Alejo and Dorothy Quijada man the Peru base of CFCI.  Alejo is Peruvian by birth and Dorothy is originally from the US.

Much of their ministry is carried out with pastors and churches of different evangelical denominations.  Their ministry includes helping pastors and helping church leaders cope with problems affecting children at risk, including workshops for pastors and church leaders on sexual abuse of children and adolescents, a common problem in Peru.

Their ministry has other branches as well.  CFCI Peru helps women who have been released from the women's prison in Lima with their reentry into society.  In the areas of Peru afflicted by terrorism, they hold workshops for pastors on conflict resolution for families, churches and communities.  They also coordinate church planting campaigns with pastors' associations.

The Quijada have two children, both married, with babies born in 2006.  They can be reached by e-mail: alejo@terra.com.pe or by snail mail: Apartado 12-207, Lima 12, Peru.  Home phone number: (51-1) 348-3583.
